12.00 – 13.00: Ready, Set, Flow Flowing momentum. Get the leaders to discard rigid pattern plans, get the followers to commit and follow through with the momentum given, so that each person can flow off the other. |
13.00 – 14.15 lunch break |
14.15 – 15.15: Mad Scientist Moves Get creative with your Lindy Hop! Kenny and Jesse share interesting creations and combinations to challenge the way you think about your dancing. |
15.30 – 16.30: Focus on Your Fast Dancing Learn some of Jesse and Kenny’s tricks for staying cool under pressure when the music gets fast and hot. |
20.00 – 24.00: Lindy Hop Party in Odeon Also for beginners, with beginners taster class and show performance. |

11.00 – 12.00: Aerial Preparedness Training This class will help students train their bodies for proper aerial movement and technique. We’ll explore quadrupedal (animal) movement, jumping and landing techniques, trust exercises, and finish with some simple aerial preps. |
12.15 – 13.15: Beginner Aerials You have warmed up, built trust, and now want to fly. Now learn a few classic, fun, and easy aerials in this class. Prerequisite: Aerial Preparedness Training. |
13.15 – 14.15 lunch break |
14.15 – 15.15: Ballroomin’ Blues We’ll look toward the Spirit Moves documentary for inspiration as we teach this traveling blues style. You’ll learn turns, dips, and how to be comfortable moving in closed and open position. |
15.30 – 16.30: Make Your Solo Jazz Shine In this routine, you’ll learn classic solo charleston and jazz steps while playing with stylings and interaction. |
