Trickeration – Fast track classes

TRICKERATION FAST TRACK

Period: 4 classes from January 7th to 28th, 2020

Let’s get the year off to a great start with this special solo jazz fast track! Freya is teaching us 4 classes to learn and practice the famous ‘TRICKERATION’ solo jazz routine created by Norma Miller! This is a separate class from the spring 2020 semester.

See below our contribution to the ‘global trickeration project’ honoring Norma Miller by the ‘Apple Jacks Performance Crew’.

TEACHER

Freya

I discovered Authentic Jazz and Lindy Hop in 2015 in Luxembourg and kept dancing ever since. Today, I also dance Balboa and a little bit of Blues and St Louis Shag. I love the joy and happiness that come along with swing music and dancing. Swing dancing is a wonderful way to make friends everywhere in the world and to never stop learning something new!

INDOOR SHOES REQUIRED!

Please note that non-marking indoor shoes are required. The classroom‘s floor is excellent for dancing, but also delicate. As such, we cannot allow outdoor shoes, high heels, shoes leaving marks, etc.

non-marking: the soles of your shoes do not leave marks when dragged over a wooden floor.
indoor: the shoes are only worn indoors and never outdoors.

DANCING AND PHYSICAL FITNESS

Dancing is a physical activity and the association, teachers and staff assume no liability for personal injuries or loss of, or damage to, personal property. If you have any doubts as to your physical abilities, please consult your physician before participating. Enjoy and dance at your own risk.
