Saturday night party: the Hot Shots (I)

©Marco Pavone

Hot Shots is a band from Torino, Italy.

Their love and respect for blues music has always been profound and sincere, the traveling and constant research modeled their sound. You’ll experience a musical journey from the hot Texas plains to the Mississippi hills all the way to the mysteries of the Louisiana bayou. The warm and rough sound of the guitar blends with the smooth harmonica and singing layed on a running rhythmic made of deep percussions and drums.

The project started back in 2017 and since then they played in big beautiful festivals across Italy and Europe (Greece, Luxembourg, Spain, France, Belgium) making a lot of people happy and dancing the night away!

Boris – Harp and Voice

Chico – Guitar

Alessandro Negri – Drums

Sunday closing Party: DUKE BOX (LU)

The Duke Box was born within the Swing Dance Luxembourg association, the result of the meeting of Lindy Hop dancers determined to move from the floor to the stage. This ‘small band’ (trumpet, saxophone, piano, rhythm guitar, bass, drums) covers the great classics of Swing, from the Benny Goodman Sextet to Count Basie via Fats Waller. Combining energy and a dose of humor, particularly loving playing with it’s dancing audience, they perform every month at socials and other tea dances in Luxembourg and elsewhere.

The Duke Box is composed of: Stephan Kinsch (trumpet) ; Paul Reiff (saxophone); Geoffrey Sabba (piano); Hubert de Verdelhan (rhythm guitar); Sebastiano Guintini (bass); Simon Acquaviva (drums) – website

Their smooth and unique way of playing the blues is going to amaze you !
